Methodology
Where SelfHost BR gets its VPS prices, n8n versions and security alerts, and hardware recommendations, and how often they are reviewed.
- VPS prices: checked on each provider's public pages, with the date of the check. I show the entry price and, when the provider publishes it, the renewal price, which is often much higher.
- n8n versions and alerts: followed daily in n8n's official repository (published releases and security advisories).
- Hardware requirements: when the official documentation gives no numbers, I use rules of thumb and label them as estimates.
- Corrections: revised articles show the revision date.
